Now, we’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join the Museums & Parks team (Live).

What you will do

As a Senior PHP Developer in our Live Business Unit, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our Global Ticket platform, the ticketing solution trusted by some of the most iconic names in the Museums & Parks industry. You’ll join a team of four senior developers, focusing on backend PHP development to power seamless ticketing experiences for clients like the Van Gogh Museum, Heineken Experience, Toverland, and even international landmarks like the Notre Dame in Paris.

Our mission goes beyond just selling tickets. We aim to help our clients create unforgettable visitor experiences by leveraging data, personalized communication, and cutting-edge technology. With CM.com’s conversational commerce solutions, we enable museums, zoos, and theme parks to connect with their visitors on their favorite channels and devices, offering a journey that starts long before the visit and continues long after.

In this role, you’ll work on:

  • Backend development in PHP, building scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

  • Integrating with external services (APIs) to enhance the functionality of our platform.

  • Tackling challenges that come with international growth, such as multi-currency support, scalability, and security.

  • Collaborating in an agile team that values flexibility, adapting priorities when needed to meet the dynamic demands of the ticketing industry.

Our team (consisting of 4 other senior developers) follows SCRUM principles but isn’t rigid about the rules. Our focus is on delivering value. You’ll enjoy a mix of tasks, from triaging bugs and collaborating across departments to brainstorming innovative solutions for complex problems.

Additionally, you ideally have

  • A bachelor’s or master's degree related to IT, Software Engineering, or Computer Science

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in PHP. Symfony framework knowledge is a plus

  • Fluency in English. Dutch is a plus

  • Residence within commuting distance from our office in Amsterdam
