Now, we’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join the Conversational Router team!

What you will do

We are building the ultimate Global AI-Powered Customer Engagement Platform that lets businesses connect with customers, automate work, and handle every interaction through one reliable, user-friendly platform. That is our mission for 2026.

Handling more than a million conversations every day, globally, the conversational router enables smooth handovers between web conversations, AI agents, and the customer service agent inbox. You can think of it as the highly complex, high-volume heart of every customer interaction.

In your first 12 months, you will:

• Take ownership of the architecture and scalability of the Conversational Router
  As a Senior Developer, you’ll lead the design and optimization of a core component of CM.com’s platform, ensuring it handles millions of messages daily across channels like WhatsApp, RCS, and SMS. You’ll work on critical integrations with products like Web Conversations, Conversational AI Cloud, HALO, and Mobile Service Cloud, driving technical excellence and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the Router’s future
  You’ll work closely with teams across CM.com to centralize functionalities from various applications into the Router, making strategic architectural decisions that ensure scalability, security, and long-term success.

• Solve complex technical challenges using AI and cutting-edge technologies
  You’ll tackle advanced problems like streaming AI messages, data anonymization, and optimizing performance at scale. With the freedom to explore new technologies, you’ll push boundaries and ensure the Router remains at the forefront of innovation.

• Mentor and support your team
  Beyond coding, you’ll play a key role in mentoring and guiding your teammates, helping them grow their skills and tackle challenges effectively. Your leadership will drive the team’s success and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

• Help shape how AI will redefine your role and the Router’s capabilities
  AI is transforming software development, and we expect you to lead the charge in integrating AI into workflows and processes. By leveraging AI tools for automation, debugging, and optimization, you’ll redefine how this role evolves and ensure the Router stays ahead of industry trends.

• Success is measured by impact, not by perfect plans
  Your contributions will directly influence the Router’s performance, scalability, and ability to deliver seamless conversational experiences to millions of users worldwide.

That’s why you ideally have

• At least 5+ years of experience with C#, .NET, and Cloud Service. You have a passion for writing clean, maintainable code and are eager to learn modern development practices.

• A proactive attitude towards working on complex solutions. You enjoy technical challenges and thrive on solving intricate problems.

• A self-starting mindset, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively with direct colleagues.

• You enjoy being part of a relatively small and close-knit team.

• You are fluent in English and live near our headquarters in Breda.
