Now, we are looking for a Business Controller to support our Live Business Unit in making the right business decisions.
What you will do
At CM.com, every Business Controller is responsible for a specific business unit and takes ownership of a secondary theme. In this role, around 50% of your time will focus on the Live business unit, while the other 50% will give you the opportunity to contribute to other areas, such as:
Supporting other business units,
Collaborating with the FP&A consultant,
Strengthening ties with the Business Intelligence team, or
Taking on other impactful business finance projects.

The Live business unit empowers clients to create unforgettable visitor experiences across music and live events, immersive experiences, and museums and parks, working with iconic names like the Heineken Experience, Notre Dame, and Live Nation. With a strong focus on the Benelux, France, and the UK, we’re growing rapidly—and that’s why we need a strong financial business partner to support and drive this growth. As a Business Controller, you’ll:
Lead the Planning & Control cycle, translating strategy into solid plans and accurate forecasts.
Provide forward-looking insights through monthly reporting and embed corrective actions when needed.
Drive fact-based decision-making on topics like new clients, pricing, investments, and international projects.
Collaborate with teams like Sales, Product, and Operations, offering proactive advice to drive growth and value creation.
Business Finance at CM.com consists of two tightly connected teams: Business Control and Business Intelligence (7 FTE. Together, these teams provide data-driven insights and financial expertise to the business.
You’ll join the Business Control team, working alongside four direct colleagues in Breda. You’ll report to Renée Scheerman, Head of Business Finance, who reports directly to our CFO.

Additionally, you ideally have
Master in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent;
5+ years experience in (commercial) business control;
Experience in fast paced, dynamic tech environment in an international setting is a big plus;
You are fluent in Dutch and English;
Next to that, you:
Are an excellent communicator with a strong business acumen;
Combine strong financial understanding with great industry interest and strategic thinking;
Have a continuous improvement mindset and you are always looking for commercial opportunities;
