Now, we are looking for a Billing Specialist to join the Billing team in Breda
What you will do
As part of our Billing Team, you’ll be at the heart of managing our global billing platform. With over 5,000 customers across 15+ entities worldwide, no two days will be the same. Different cultures, time zones, and communication styles keep things exciting and dynamic.
In this role as a Billing Specialist, you’ll take ownership of preparing, creating, and sending out invoices to our clients. It’s not just about numbers—each client and invoice is unique, so you’ll need to oversee the entire process to make sure everything runs smoothly. On top of that, you’ll play a key role in ensuring revenue is allocated correctly for financial forecasting and reporting.
You’ll also be the go-to person for customer inquiries, help resolve billing issues, and contribute to projects that improve and automate our billing processes. We’re growing fast, and your work will help us scale even further.
In addition, you will:
Determine client agreements and handle any exceptions to ensure alignment.
Address customer inquiries, resolve disputes, and manage complex billing issues.
Monitor deadlines, maintain clear internal communication, and ensure smooth administrative processes.
Oversee financial completeness checks related to contracts, pricing, and subscriptions.
Provide regular, accurate billing data reports to support decision-making.
Ensure the tax process runs smoothly and remains compliant.
Furthermore, you will assist in projects focused on automation and improving the billing and collection platform to support the company's future growth
You’ll be part of a close-knit team with Mark, Ellen, and Nicolene as your direct colleagues. Of course, you’ll also collaborate with other teams like finance, sales, and account management. Together, we make sure everything runs smoothly for our clients and the business.

Additionally, you ideally have
A Bachelor’s in Finance / Accounting /Business Administration or comparable;
A minimum of 2 years OF relevant working experience in billing, accounts receivable or other relevant accounting position(s);
Knowledge of invoice / AR processes and modules is strongly preferred;
Practical experience with accounting software is a pre;
Very accurate and detail-oriented;
High level of critical thinking and logical analysis;
Excellent communication skills, in English (fluent) and Dutch (strongly preferred);
A resilient mindset, the ability to find creative solutions to problems and challenges.
